NEW! Energy Saving Jamb Insulation - Another AJ Innovation as a Standard Feature

AJ is pleased to announce an exciting new enhancement to their product line.
Beginning in May 2008 pre cut ESP Low-E® Insulation strips will be included as a standard feature in every 5100, 6100 & 7100 door. To install the pre-cut insulation strips just form a “C” and insert it into the jamb. Additional installation strips kits are available for purchase for installation with utility doors like AJ series 3100, 3700, & 4100.

ESP Low-E Insulation is a premium reflective insulation product with the following unique characteristics:

Polyethylene MICRO FOAM core which will not allow water or moisture to be absorbed or pass through it in any direction.

The MICRO FOAM core is flame adhered to the foil surfaces eliminating the use of adhesives or glues.

The MICRO FOAM core will seal around the installation screws and seal against water penetration that might occur in extreme conditions. The insulation does not wrap-up on the screw and remains in place.

Approximately 2,000 builders, engineers, architects, suppliers and support personnel participated in the National Frame Building Association’s (NFBA) annual convention and trade show, Frame Building Expo. AJ was one of more than 130 exhibitors at the show. Our complete line of high quality Post Frame Utility and Light Commercial Doors and Windows was well represented. The aluminum frame series 3100 and 3700 doors were shown in white. The 16 ga steel frame 5100 and thermal 7100 were displayed with clay panels and jambs.

The Aluminum Windows attracted a lot of attention too. The display consisted of all three of AJ’s sliding windows trimmed with custom painted EZ FIT trim. A series 310 single glazed slider in white, a series 500 insulated single hung in clay, and a clay series 900 insulated horizontal slider. Two series 905 insulated gridded fixed lites, mulled together to show our transom window option, were trimmed with painted burgundy J-Channel.

An innovative time saving Ceiling Access Door was installed in the ceiling of each walk through display.

We also showed our new line of distributor products including: The Concrete Pier System® by Jack Cutforth, ESP® Low E Reflectives and Class A White TM Insulation and EXPI-Door® Fire Rated & Commercial Doors.

NEW for 2006 A.J. Manufacturing has developed an insulated “Window System” that provides the ability to mull all insulated windows for a dramatic architectural look including the use of transom lites and half round units.

A.J. Manufacturing’s line of windows includes single-glazed and insulated aluminum in a variety of sizes and styles. The EZ Fit Framing System, available in custom colors, reduces labor and assures a reliable seal and is distinctive on all buildings.

The Wisconsin-based door and window manufacturer supplying the post-frame industry is now offering a Ceiling Access Door to the industry. The doors are one-inch thick, polyurethane filled, providing an R-Value 6.5. Pre-painted white aluminum frames and galvanized white door skins provide a discreet but functional entryway into ceiling and attic spaces.

Our New 6-Panel Shouts Style - The new 6 panel has the timeless look of elegance in a well performing Walk Door. This pre-hung universal door is available in Series 3700, 4100, 5100 and the 7100 Thermally Broken Door.

Pressure relief doors prevent ductwork and pressure sensitive equipment from being damaged if a damper closes while the fan is operating, thus neutralizing the pressure differential between the inside and outside of the HVAC system. The sealing performance of our door greatly reduces the risk of air leakage thereby protecting the customers' investment in processed air.
